Mayor of Chelmsford supports The J’s PDF Print E-mail

We are delighted to be chosen by the Mayor of Chelmsford, Councillor Patricia Hughes, as her sole charity for support during her civic year.

At the inauguration event at the Civic Centre on Wednesday 18th May, the newly appointed Mayor said: “I am absolutely delighted to be able to support The J’s Hospice for the coming year by raising awareness and funds for the specialist and supportive care which they give to young adults and their families.”

The Mayor’s fundraising events

Zoe Butler, our Community Fundraiser, is thrilled by the Mayor’s support for The J’s Hospice. She explained: “We are so pleased that we have been chosen by the Mayor as her sole charity and we are already planning an exciting range of fundraising activities and events!”

The Mayor’s next event is a Christmas Abseil is in the atrium of Essex County Hall on Friday 25th November and Sunday 27th November. This exciting event will be open to adults and children over 8 years. Click here for more information.
