The Mayor of Chelmsford has organised a fundraising Christmas Abseil in support of The J’s Hospice as her charity partner - book your place now!

The Mayor of Chelmsford’s Christmas Abseil is on Friday 25th and Sunday 27th November, from 10am to 3pm inside the glass atrium at Essex County Hall.

The Mayor of Chelmsford, Councillor Patricia Hughes, said: “Test your nerve and your head for heights as you dare to dangle 40ft above the ground then abseil down the indoor atrium of the Essex County Council, County Hall in Chelmsford. It is a double line abseil, so sign up with a friend or colleague and you can do it together, raising money for a great cause.”

Friday’s abseil will be great opportunity for local businesses to do some team building to get into the festive spirit. Ticket prices are £15 per adult with a minimum sponsorship of £85 and £15 per child (aged 8-16 years) with a minimum sponsorship of £30. All money raised will go to The J’s Hospice charity.
